NYCO Minerals, Inc., a growing Company specializing in mining, processing and surface modification of minerals for application in plastics, construction, and coatings industry announces the following career opportunities:



PROCESS ENGINEER

Reporting directly to the General Manager of Operations, this position will be responsible for increasing the organization’s understanding and knowledge of all processes utilized in the conversion of non-metallic mineral ore into finished product that conforms to stated process, product and quality requirements. This includes all phases of process development including design, prototyping, start-up, trouble shooting, optimization and control. Responsibilities include providing flow analysis utilizing statistical methods (DOE, SPC, Flow Charting and FMEA tools) and process capability for all production systems; as well as identifying potential or existing problems, recommend solutions and implement approved measures.

Requirements include a Bachelors Degree in one of the following fields: Mineral Processing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Physical Sciences (Chemistry, Physics), plus a minimum of 5 years in a continuous process production environment. CQE a plus.


PLANT SUPERINTENDENT

This position reports to the General Manager of Operations and is responsible for the supervision and coordination of plant manufacturing operations to ensure that production goals, shipping goals, cost objectives and quality standards are met. The Plant Superintendent follows the progress of production, anticipates and investigates delays, and ensures that corrective action is taken; while performing continuous review of schedules, methods, standards or other production factors in order to make appropriate recommendations to improve quality and reduce costs.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and minimum 7 years related supervisory experience working in a Union Production facility with revenues in excess of $ 10 million per year.
